Inductive method is based on the repetitive use of the rule which takes a concrete example which helps understand an abstract formula or rule. The child is given examples that work on the basis of the rule, as the example is easily understood; the child grasps such concepts with ease. Based on the various examples given by the educator, the rule for those examples is derived by the child, this creates a platform for active participation.
The child is able to derive the formula or put the rule to practice easily. As examples are appropriate to the class in general, there is a direct experience which makes it interesting for the child.
The thought process is logical and continuous. As the student and teacher actively contribute to this method of teaching, the relationship between them is stronger.
The teacher is able to assess the calibre at which the children grasp concepts and apply them. The teacher is also able to help those who may still struggle despite this method and can alter their approach accordingly.
Deductive method is based on stating the rule and then given examples to help the child verify the rule or the child will verify the rule by daily observation.

Another reason this method cannot solely exist is that it is time-consuming and the teacher has to be spontaneous in case the prepared approach does not help make the rule or concept crystal clear to every child.
